The session was focused on providing a comprehensive view of the Brazilian market from the perspective of sports betting and online casino providers, exploring the unique characteristics of Brazilian players, their passions, gaming behaviors, and how to create a user experience that resonates with this diverse and passionate audience. Sportradar X Brazil: Sportradar is committed to supporting the growth of a responsible and sustainable sports betting market in Brazil. The company is well positioned to address the emerging Brazilian market through Integrity, MTS, ORAKO, Marketing Services (ad:s) and Paid Search to Boost Operators' Customer Acquisition Efforts, along with our global rights partnerships, including NBA, Bundesliga and ATP, that will provide a large volume of sports betting content to the market.

Sportradar is a vital technology partner that sits at the center and powers the entire sports industry. In Brazil, this is reflected already in our relationships with CBF, sportsbooks, media companies and our MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Brazilian Federal Police to combat corruption in sport. Brazil is a dynamic market and it will become even bigger after the regulation. Furthermore, soccer is the most popular sport in Brazil and with regulation for sports betting, demand for soccer content in the region is likely to increase. Sportradar is well-positioned to address this demand with a market-leading portfolio of soccer products and solutions.

What kind of innovations have you noticed in the companies participating in G2E that you consider relevant for the future of the sector?

My perspective is that the most impactful innovations showcased at G2E focus on advanced, data-driven technologies, comprehensive integrity solutions, and personalized engagement strategies. Companies leading the industry are increasingly prioritizing transparency and trust through tools designed to detect anomalies and uphold fair play. Sportradar, for example, stands out with its Integrity Services, which utilize advanced AI and data analytics to proactively detect and address potential match-fixing threats. This technology goes beyond reactive measures by actively reinforcing trust and transparency within sports betting—a critical factor for long-term, sustainable growth.

Also, data-driven marketing is transforming how companies connect with bettors in the sports betting and casino sectors. Sportradar’s proprietary ad:s technology, for instance, harnesses user insights to deliver tailored, meaningful marketing experiences that drive engagement while aligning with responsible gaming practices. Collaborations with major sports organizations like the NBA and Conmebol also underscore Sportradar’s commitment to integrity on a global scale, setting a high standard for responsible gaming as regions, including Brazil, enhance regulatory frameworks. Through these advancements, companies like Sportradar are paving the way for a future where trust, innovation, and user engagement are inextricably linked, laying the groundwork for an ethical, technology-driven betting ecosystem.

How do you think this event contributes to a better understanding of the trends and needs of the North American gaming market?

For instance, data-driven user engagement strategies and AI-driven integrity solutions are emerging as non-negotiables for success in North America. The event also underscores the growing emphasis on responsible gaming, revealing how operators and tech providers alike are incorporating safeguards to ensure ethical practices. These insights help companies like Sportradar hone their strategies to meet the specific needs of the North American market, ensuring that they offer cutting-edge, responsible, and market-appropriate solutions in a rapidly evolving sector.

How important is it for your company to participate in events like G2E and make connections with other industry professionals?

Attending events like G2E is vital for Sportradar, as it offers a platform to showcase our latest innovations, strengthen our reputation, and stay connected with the pulse of industry advancements. The networking opportunities alone are invaluable: by engaging with diverse stakeholders—regulators, operators, technology providers, and industry experts—we gain insights that inform our strategy and product development, ensuring that our solutions remain aligned with market expectations and regulatory requirements.
